The Adige Valley, Cembra Valley and Lakes Valley possess very different names and characteristics, but they come together for the same love of nature and culture, both of which will make you forget the stressful everyday life.
The city of Trento was born and still continues bursting with life along the banks of the Adige River, in the middle of the Adige Valley (Val d’Adige). The city opens the doors to visitors for the weekends and also for longer stays all year long. You can enjoy arts and culture and outdoor sport both in summer and winter: you only need to cross the river and reach Mount Bondone, laying on the other bank. All kind of local festivals and initiatives make the city colourful and attractive thanks to new interesting aromas and activities in all seasons. From Trento, you can go north towards Königsberg - literally, the Plain of the King i.e. of Asburgo (“Piana Rotaliana” in Italian) - for a tour and you will find beautiful castles, fascinating old wine cellars, green vineyards covering slopes kissed by the sun.
Not to far from Trento, there is the Cembra Valley (Val di Cembra). The landscape there could seem quite steep at first sight, but in this place you will easily come across the genuine personality of peasants. The same feature is visible in the countryside, among fields and chestnuts. Then, suddenly, you come accross incredible wonders of nature like the Rock Pyramids in Segonzano or the mysterious Santo di Cembra Lake. The Cembra Valley is offering more than what you can see with your eyes, you only need to start exploring! You will find the most precious treasure when you come back home.
The Lakes Valley is exactly what the word means, that is, a place with plenty of lakes and little pools, where you can go fishing, sunbathing, swimming or simply relax. From Trento, the area is extended to the borders of Lake Garda area and tells you a history of green and peaceful rest, totally immersed in the simple things of nature.
Our Farmhouses in the Adige Valley, Cembra Valley and Lakes Valley are pleased to meet you and want to make your stay unforgettable.
