Agritur Calcaiol

The Calcaiol Farmhouse is located on the top of eastern hills surrounding the city of Trento. It is very close to the small villages of Martignano and Cognola, by a natural terrace and a splendid vineyard: the terrace overlooks magnificently the city of Trento and dominates the neighbourhoods.

The Calcaiol Farmhouse is a renowned restaurant which can host you for lunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays, and prepare traditional meals of Trentino. You will be delighted by the inventive cuisine of the owners, the stunning panorama around you and the cute animals. You must taste the special cold cuts, canederli (small balls made of bread, eggs, cheese and other ingredients) and cakes. It is better to book in advance, especially during public holidays!

Tasting and snacks during the day can include, if requested, some particular dishes like snails and tripe, special cured meat or cheese. All food is absolutely home-made.

The Calcaiol Farmhouse is suitable for large groups (if reserved in advance) celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries in a simple but cosy ambience, and also children, who can play in the large playground and garden. The Farmhouse is closed on July, August and September because of farming labours.
