The Giudicarie Valleys, Val Rendena and the Chiese Valleys

The Giudicarie Valleys are located in the western part of Trentino, include the famous Comano Terme thermal baths, Tione di Trento and the Chiese River and reach Lake Idro towards Brescia. This region is rich in water, meadows and woods. So, your holiday there will be immersed in unspoilt nature, the real protagonist of the story.

Stunning views over the Dolomites, the Brenta Group and the beautiful Adamello, famous towns like Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo, a vast ski area neighbouring Val di Sole, glamourous events and international sports competition are meant to be only in Val Rendena. You only need to follow the road signs that will lead you in the very heart of the valley, a narrow and relaxing up and down between emotions. The Chiese Valley, along which the Chiese River flows, will surprise you with the incredible variety of evocative landscapes: on the one part you can see Lake Idro sides, on the other part you have the rocks rising towards the blue sky of Valdaone and Val di Fumo, the Carè Alto Peak and the glaciers of the Adamello mountain chain. You cannot miss to taste the products of the Chiese Valley,  such as the yellow flour from Storo, used to make the famous “polenta”, the alpine “salmerino” (a typical fish living in the rivers of the Dolomites) and the cheese of the “malghe” (typical mountain huts).
