The "La Trisa" Farmhouse, located in Giustino (Val Rendena) is managed by the Cosi family, whose farm, called "Fattoria Antica Rendena" (Ancient Rendena's Farm), is the real power machine of all the busimess. The Farmhouse is a traditional restaurant with very high quality products and a familiar atmosphere. There you can find the steamy "polenta" with spezzatino meat, carne salada with beans, Pressa cheese in fondue with sauerkraut and cotechino as second courses; "canederli" and "rotoli" as first courses. Desserts are all home-made.
Since 1994, the farm has been following the rules to obtain the High Quality Biological Certification, and now it has all the production renamed "biologic": the first were the meadows, then the hay, the milk of Rendena cows and in the end, the yogurt. The Cosi farm was the first in Trentino to convert completely biological.
The La Trisa Farmhouse is also a Teaching Farm which offers participation in the farm's activities, visits to the stable, laboratories about the milk and the transformation into yogurt. After visits, guests can taste the farm's products. Teaching Farm's activities are especially dedicated to organized groups and classes, only if reserved.
