Agritur Malga Valfontane

The Malga Valfontane Mountain Hut belongs to the same family since 40 years. Thanks to their concrete experience, the owners ran the business successfully: the restaurant serving traditional dishes was combined since 2008 with accommodation service in attractive, well-furnished rooms. You can rest there to renovate your energies before going to hike in the mountains the next day. The Malga - that is also a Farmhouse - is near Passo Brocon (Castello Tesino): the beautiful surroundings, with incredible panoramas and the fresh air, are waiting for you! Remember: the Malga is open from June to September.

In the renovated "casara" - where the cows' milk is processed - you can buy butter, fresh cheese and normal cheese, prepared according to ancient recipes and using accurately ancient methods. The welcome is very warm, and the home-made products are delicious! 

The Malga Valfontane Farmhouse participates in different projects: "Albe in Malga" (Dawns at the Malga) enables guests to live true farmers' jobs, while "Adotta una Mucca" (Adopt you Cow) enables guests to get very close to their favorite cow and collect the products made of the cows' milk.
