The Negritella farm, which breeds 70 cows, manages since years the Malga San Pellegrino Mountain Hut, a Farmhouse located near the Passo San Pellegrino between Val di Fassa and the Venetian region. The Malga is open to visitors as a restaurant serving typical Trentino dishes like polenta and sausage, mushrooms, game and cheese. Tasting service is also available.
In this quite informal location, visitors can taste the popular Puzzone di Moena cheese, served with honey and nuts: you can taste it and then take it at home! If you remain at the Malga, you can eat in the indoor hall or on the small terrace and admire the surrounding stunning panorama. This is a recommended break before climbing up Passo San Pellegrino or seeing Lake San Pellegrino and the crystal-clear waters.
These places are rich in precious details in nature, typical small Ladin houses with stone walls and wood sculptures. Several strolls are available on foot and by horse and other tracks are for climbers, nordic walking enthusiasts and bikers.
