Agritur Malga Rolle

The Malga Rolle Mountain Hut is located 2000mt high near the main road, at the bottom of Passo Rolle and the famous Pale di San Martino. The mountain hut is also a Farmhouse run by the Primiero Grand Dairy and represents a valuable restaurant serving traditional dishes and selling milk-derived products, such as the popular Tosèla and Casada cheese.

The flavours and tastes of Primiero and Trentino are available from June to September and from December to Easter holidays. The Farmhouse is also a Slow Food Preside. From the tables outdoor guests can admire stunning views over the Panaveggio Park, the Pale, and the Violins' Forest: there, they can find a very rare and prestigious kind of spruce wood, that Stradivari used to build his famous musical instruments in the 18th century. Until nowadays, those insturments conserve sounds and legends deriving from those woods, thanks to their incredible resonance. 

In the surroundings, several excursions are possible: the best visits could be in the Demanio Forest of Trento, Colbricòn Lakes, Venengia Valley and towards the Cristi Pensante (Thoughtful Christ).
