The Malga Coredo Farmhouse is run by a well-known family team, the San Romedio Farm, located in Predaia, Val di Non. The small mountain hut is a traditional Trentino restaurant and a Teaching Farm, open from june to september.
In the restaurant, traditional dishes are always prepared with farm-grown products or coming from Trentino, for example: canederli with nettle, polenta and spezzatino, sauerkraut with pork, potato "tortei" with and cold cuts and cheese, produced by the same farm. The farm produces apple juice and brulé syrup as well. You can buy their products all year long. You can also reserve the place for special meals.
The mountain hut is also a Teaching Farm offering laboratories about exploring the mountain lifestyle and animals, visiting the bees breeding, trying the milking process and using the officinal plants. Also, the farm organizes visists to the Coste Bèle natural site, astronomy meetings with an expert, walkings to observe wild animals and plants and visits to 2 archeological sites, with 12.000-years-old evidence.
