Agritur Malga Caserina di Dentro

The Caserina di Dentro Mountain Hut is a Farmhouse located in Val Campelle, an unspoilt green area in the district of Scurelle, in Valsugana Valley.

In the building once called "casera" (ancient dairy), now there is a restaurant which prepares typical Trentino dishes, like polenta, spezzatino and tasty malga cheeses (called "tosela", "casoleta", fresh and  smoked "ricotta"). The actual "casera" is very different from the former, as you can see from the framed photographs hanging all over.  

In fact, the whole mountain hut was completely restored in 2000. In spite of its modernity, however, the actual building still preserves the traditional features of a Trentino house, like the walls in visible stone and the typical roof divided in "scandole" - special large tiles made of larch wood from Trentino. The old stable is now composed by separate rooms: the housing barn, the milking room, the room for milk storage, dairy and shop.
