In the hearth of the Piana Rotaliana, in Mezzocorona (Adige Valley), the Antico Fienile Farmhouse (the "Old Barn") is run by the Fedrizzi family with love and passion. The Farmhouse offers accommodation in large rooms with alll services, some including a small kitchen. On the last floor, you find a new hall for relaxation, meetings and cerimonies. Nex to the Farmhouse there is the restaurant "Locanda Camorz", which will introduce you to the traditional dishes of Trentino.
The Farmhouse was built during the Prince Bishops period in the XVII century: it is very old! It survived Napoleon's invasion and was annexed by Austria, from which the area was named "Konigsberg" (plain of the King). At the end of XVIII century, the farmers reclaimed the land from the swamp and planted the ruby Teroldego Rotaliano grapes, which now dominates the area.
The Farmhouse also participates in the Trentino BiciTour Special Program. This means that bikers will feel comfortable here and will find all the dedicated services: maps, free private deposit for bicycles, free city bike rent, breakfasts for riders and information on trains/coaches which can transport the bikes.
