Agritur al Picchio

Welcome to the "Picchio" (Woodpecker) Farmhouse! This Agritur was built in the ancient "maso" (typical estate of Trentino) and keep being devoted to agriculture and farming; in addition, now it offers accommodation and breakfast service to guests. The Agritur is in Vallagarina, between Lessini mountains and Ala, the Town of Velvet, few km far from Rovereto and Lake Garda. The place was a well-known route since the 16th century and the Farmhouse represented an useful pit-stop. The 10 comfortable rooms with en suite bathrooms boost typical wooden floors, but also have tvs and wi-fi connection.

At the ground floor, two halls had been built instead of the old barn and stable, but the traditional ceiling "a volto" (like an arch) with stone walls still creates a homely and evocative atmosphere. In the halls breakfast is served and includes home-made pies, farm's marmalades, fruit and fruit juice, local cold cuts and cheese. After breakfast you can start your holiday by bicycling along the Claudia Augusta bike track.
