Agritur al Canyon

The "al Canyon" Farmhouse is in Cloz, a small village in the centre of Val di Non. It is run by the Franch's family and counts 8 rooms (1 for 4 people and 7 double rooms), a large hall for breakfast time, a garden, private parking and a garage for motorcycles.

The crown-jewel of the Agritur is the new cellar, where the special wine of the area, the Groppello wine, is produced and stored. There it is possible to taste grappas, fruit-distilled spirits (like Golden apple and apricots spiritis) and apple juice, all produced by the owner's farm. In fact, the farmer cultivates 6 varieties of apple - some of which are considered "ancient types" -, but these are conferred to the famous Melinda group, based in Val di Non. The "al Canyon" Farmhouses is part of the Melinda Ambassadors project. The gourmands will enjoy the guided visits to the farm's vineyard and orchards and the following tasting of natural snacks.

The Farmhouse is near to the Novella River Park, one of the most marvellous in the valley. Bike and hiking enthusiasts will find a new bike track in the surroundings of Cloz. 15 minutes far (by car), the Sanctuary of San Romedio is a superb building where you can see a beautiful brown bear. In the area there is also plenty of small alpine lakes where you can fish in tranquillity.
